Take Pacific Crest Trail from Snoqualmie Pass to side down and back to Spectacle Lake Trail back to PCT due a short .2 miles down and back up the PCT than head in the reverse direction down the PCT to Trail 1331 around lake to Trail 1312 to Kachess Campground.

From the South Rim start at Hermits Rest, hike on the West Rim Trail to the trailhead of the South Bright Angel Trail; descend off the South Rim to the bottom of the Canyon heading east on the River Trail  to the Colorado River; head out of the Canyon on the North Kaibab Trail.

Difficult sharp Aa lava flows with difficult routefinding and backcountry dirt road and paved road; traverse
Start at the trailhead of the Zuni-Acoma Trail at Rt 117; join the Continental Divide Trail as it splits from the Zuni Acoma Trail; reach the information center where the trail joins Rt 53; at the junction with the Chain of Craters Backcountry Byway (Rt 42) go south until necessary mileage has been reached.

Bushwhack or cross country; rocky; fist size cobblestones; knee high grass; dirt trails; dirt roads; traverse
Start at the West side of the refuge and bushwhack to nine separate trails that make up about 15 miles.  Starting at West Gate heading cross country southeast; between Elk Mountain and Twin Rocks Mountain; heading south to the southern border; heading east on dirt road; head north on Indiahoma Road to north portion of the Dog Hollow Trail System; head south past Lost Lake through the Narrows to the southern border; follow the Burma road east and north and around Quanah Mountain; north through grasslands; swing around Quannah Parker Lake clockwise past visitor center; generally heading northeast to the northern border passed Jed Johnson Lake; heading east to the summit of Mt. Scott.

On Road 700 1.75 miles east of Cimarron River Picnic Area
Grass; prickly pear; flat; barb wired fence; two track; bushwhack; traverse
Start at Murphy Trailhead follow tall markers in the grass that designate the Sante Fe Trail to the Conestoga Trailhead (19 miles); go south until the trees or depending on the terrain Road 600; head upriver to the west until the Wilburton Pond area; pick up the Turkey Trail if it can be seen; otherwise continue heading downstream probably on the south side until the Cimarron Recreation Area where the Turkey Trail turns into a two track; follow the track until about 1.75 before the Cimarron River Picnic Area.

Dirt; rocky; sand; bushwhack across dunes; after dunes across rolling sandhills; road; traverse
Start as Rt 583 enters the trees; head west to Mosca Pass (1 mile); down Mosca Pass Trail (3.1 miles) to Willington Ditch Trail (0.9 miles) to Campground Loop 2 (0.4 miles) to Sand Ramp Trail (11.4 miles); at end of trail bushwhack due south across the Star Dune Complex (1.6 miles); continue south just west of dunes until hit fence (7.8 miles); run east along fence until Rt 150 (2.8 miles); head northeast to Park Headquarters (2.1 miles).

On the Maah Daah Hey Trail the whole way; except for a short spur to Magpie Camp.  Pass by the China Wall and the Ice Caves.

Bushwhack; badlands; native prairie; juniper grove; traverse
Trail traverses the North Unit of the Park and Wilderness Area.  Start at the Door/Window Parking Lot on the Castle Trail to the Old NE Road take the Medicine Root Trail and back onto the Castle Trail; before it intersects the Loop Road head out into the backcountry in a northwest direction to Dillon Pass and the Yellow Mounds area; descend the badlands heading south crossing the Loop Road; after a mile start rounding west; then northwest to Deer Haven; follow the Sage creek to the Sage Creek Primitive Campground.

On the North Country Trail whole; travel northbound.  Starting at Nine Mile Bridge.  Passing through Udell Hills; Blacksmith Bayou; and Eddington Creek; near Little Manistee River; ending at Marilla Trailhead.

Start just off Rt 33 at Point 10. On Buckeye Trail the whole way. After reaching Point 28 continue on County Road 17 (Pretty Run) for .6 miles to reach necessary mileage.

On the Buffalo River Trail almost the whole way.  Mile checks at Steele Creek Campground (12.6); Kyles Landing Campground (20.9); Erbie Campground (28.4).  After passing Erbie; continue down the trail to Adair Cemetery; then divert off the Buffalo River Trail on an old road for half a mile; finishing at the junction with unmarked County Road 79.

Start at Caesars Head State Park Visitor Center follow Frank Coggins Trail down to Naturaland Trust Trail.  When Naturalands meets Pinnacle Pass Trail do a 24.7 mile outer loop of the area going counter clockwise: Pinnacle Pass to Rim of the Gap to Jones Gap divert off of outer loop taking smaller loop using Coldspring Branch to Bill Kimball and back to Jones Gap to Raven Cliff Falls to Gum Gap to Naturaland Trust to Frank Coggins Trail to the Caesars Head State Park Visitor Center.

All blazes white. Long Pond Trail to Pine Lick Trail to Twin Oaks Trail; return on Pine Lick Trail to Deep Run-Big Run Trail to Log Roll Trail to finish.

AFT blazed Orange; Shingle Mill and Upper Rock Run Trails blazed Blue. Black Moshannon Creek Rd for a short distance to Shingle Mill Trail to AFT to Upper Rock Run Trail to AFT to Moss Hanne Trail to the Bog Trail (all boardwalk) to West Side Road. In a few yard stake Hay Road Trail to Rt 504.
